If you are traveling by car from central Afife, start by heading south on the main road. Drive towards the Atidzive Road junction. Once you reach this junction, turn right onto Atidzive Road. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers. You will see signs indicating the direction to Ayitikope Dam. The dam is located on your left. There is no entry fee for visiting the dam, but ensure that your vehicle has enough fuel, as there are limited fuel stations in the area.

To reach Ayitikope Dam via public transportation, find a local trotro (shared minibus) that is heading towards Atidzive. The main station for trotros in Afife is located near the market area. Once you board the trotro, inform the driver that you want to get off at the Atidzive Road junction. The fare is usually around 2-3 GHS. From the junction, you will need to walk approximately 1-2 kilometers north along Atidzive Road. Keep an eye out for signs leading to Ayitikope Dam on your right side. There is no entrance fee to the dam.
