Car
From Amedzofe, head southwest on the main road towards Afevi. Continue driving for about 15 minutes until you reach the junction that leads to the road marked with a sign for Awate Traditional Area. Turn right at the junction and follow the road for approximately 5 minutes. You will see the destination on your left, located at the coordinates V68W+P4G, Afevi. Parking is usually available nearby.
Public Transportation
Start at the main bus station in Amedzofe. Look for a shared taxi or minibus heading towards Afevi. The fare is typically around 2-3 GHS. Inform the driver you want to stop at Awate Traditional Area. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you reach Afevi, you may need to walk about 10 minutes to the site, which is located at V68W+P4G. Ask locals for directions if needed.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from Amedzofe, start by heading southwest on the main road. It is about a 5 km walk that will take roughly 1 hour. Follow the road signs towards Afevi, and upon reaching the junction, turn right. Continue walking for another 1 km until you reach the Awate Traditional Area located at V68W+P4G. This option allows you to enjoy the scenic views of the countryside.
