Car
If you're arriving by car, start in Amedzofe and head towards the main road, which is known as the Akwapim Ridge Road. Follow the road south for about 3 kilometers until you see a sign for Mountain Afadjato. Turn left at the sign and follow the narrow road for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the base of the mountain. Parking is usually available near the entrance to the hiking trail.
Public Transportation
To reach Mountain Afadjato using public transportation, take a shared taxi or trotro from Amedzofe to the nearest main junction. Look for vehicles heading towards Efeko. The fare should be around 2-3 GHS. Once you arrive at the junction, you can walk approximately 1 kilometer towards the mountain. Follow the signs that lead you to the entrance of the hiking trail.
Walking
If you're already in Amedzofe and prefer walking, head towards the main road and follow it southbound. It is about a 3-kilometer walk to reach the turnoff for Mountain Afadjato. Once you reach the turnoff, continue on foot for about 1 kilometer along the narrow road until you arrive at the base of the mountain.
