Car
From Kumasi, the capital of Ashanti Region, take the N6 highway towards Konongo. Drive for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction to Abesre. Turn onto the road leading to Abesre and follow it for about 15 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to Akumersu Waterfalls. Park your car at the designated parking area, and from there, it's a short hike to the waterfalls.

Public Transportation (Tro-Tro)
To reach Akumersu Waterfalls via public transportation, start from the Kumasi Central Bus Station. Look for a Tro-Tro heading to Abesre or Konongo. The fare is typically around 3-5 GHS. After approximately 1 hour, ask the driver to drop you off at the junction for Akumersu Waterfalls. From that junction, you may need to negotiate with local drivers for a motorcycle taxi (okada) or walk the remaining distance, which is about 3 kilometers to the waterfalls.

If you are at the junction after taking a Tro-Tro to Abesre, you can hire a local motorcycle taxi (okada) to take you directly to Akumersu Waterfalls. The ride will cost around 10-15 GHS and will take about 10-15 minutes. This option provides a faster and more direct route to your destination.
