If you are driving, start your journey from Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region. Head east on the N6 highway towards Koforidua. After approximately 80 kilometers, you will come to Bunso. Look for signs directing you to Bunso Arboretum on Koforidua Highway. There is usually ample parking available at the arboretum.

To use public transportation, you can take a trotro (minibus) from Kumasi to Koforidua. The trotro station in Kumasi is located at Kejetia. Once you arrive in Koforidua, find another trotro or a taxi heading towards Bunso. The fare for the trotro from Kumasi to Koforidua is typically around 5 GHS, and from Koforidua to Bunso, it should cost about 2-3 GHS. Ask the driver to drop you off at Bunso Arboretum.
