If you're starting from the Cape Coast Castle, walk towards the main road, which is Cape Coast - Takoradi Rd. From the castle, head east along the road. Continue walking straight for approximately 15-20 minutes. Look out for the sign for Elmina on your left. The Java Museum is located at 61/21 Cape Coast - Takoradi Rd in Elmina.
Public Transport (Tro-Tro)
From the Cape Coast bus station, board a tro-tro heading to Elmina. The fare is usually quite affordable, around 1-2 GHS. The trip takes about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Elmina Junction. From there, walk along the Cape Coast - Takoradi Rd for about 10 minutes until you see the Java Museum on your right at 61/21 Cape Coast - Takoradi Rd.
