From Fante, head northeast on the main road towards Kumasi. Follow the signs for Kumasi and continue driving for approximately 30 kilometers. Keep an eye out for a sign for Owabi Wildlife Sanctuary on your right. Turn right and follow the dirt road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the entrance of the sanctuary. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for unpaved roads, as they can be rough.

Public Transportation
Start by taking a shared taxi or a trotro (minibus) from Fante to Kumasi. The fare should be around 5-10 GHS, depending on your starting point in Fante. Once in Kumasi, navigate to the main bus terminal and look for a trotro heading towards Abuakwa or Owabi. The fare will be about 3 GHS. Tell the driver your destination, and they will drop you off at the nearest point to the sanctuary entrance. From there, it will be necessary to walk approximately 1 kilometer along a dirt path to reach the sanctuary entrance.

If you are already in the vicinity of Owabi Wildlife Sanctuary and need to walk, the sanctuary entrance is located off the main road. Look for local signs indicating the direction to Owabi. The path to the entrance is not paved, so wear comfortable walking shoes. The walk from the nearest bus drop-off point is about 1 kilometer, and you should allow about 15-20 minutes for this walk.
