From the center of Ho, head southwest towards the main road (Ho-Amedzofe Road). Walk along this road until you reach the junction with the path leading to Amedzofe. Continue walking straight along this road for about 8 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views. You will pass through several small villages where locals may provide assistance or directions if needed. Once you reach Amedzofe, ask locals for specific directions to the Akome Waterfall, which is located a short distance from the village.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle in Ho and take the Ho-Amedzofe Road. This route is approximately 8 kilometers long and mostly flat, making it a pleasant ride. Follow the signs to Amedzofe, and as you approach the village, look for signs or ask locals for the path to Akome Waterfall. Make sure to stay hydrated and enjoy the ride through the lush landscape.
Trotro
From Ho, you can take a trotro (shared minibus) heading towards Amedzofe. Board the trotro at the main station in Ho. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Amedzofe, you can either ask the driver to drop you off near the trail to Akome Waterfall or ask locals for directions. From the drop-off point, it's a short hike to the waterfall.
