Walking
From the center of Ho, start at the Ho Market. Head south on the main road (Volta Street) towards the traffic lights. At the traffic lights, turn left onto the Ho-Foahom Road (also known as Ho-Kpando road). Continue walking for about 4 kilometers until you reach the junction to the right leading to Vane. You may ask locals for directions to Vane as it is a known area. Upon reaching Vane, follow the signs or ask for directions to Bote Waterfall, which is approximately 1 kilometer from the main road.
Public Transport (Trotro)
From the Ho main station, take a trotro heading towards Kpando. Inform the driver you want to get off at the Vane junction. The fare is usually affordable, and the journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Once you reach the Vane junction, disembark and walk towards Vane following the signs for Bote Waterfall. It’s roughly a 1-kilometer walk from the junction to the waterfall.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Ho. Start at the Ho Market and cycle south on Volta Street, then turn left onto Ho-Foahom Road. Continue for about 4 kilometers to the Vane junction. It’s a scenic ride, and upon reaching Vane, you can park your bicycle and walk the remaining 1 kilometer to Bote Waterfall.
