Walking

From the center of Ho, head towards the main street leading to Amedzofe. Look for signs or ask locals for directions towards Amedzofe, which is approximately 10 km away. Once you reach the outskirts of Amedzofe, continue following the signs towards Ote Waterfall. You will need to take a footpath that leads into the forest. The walk may take around 2.5 hours. Ensure you wear suitable footwear as the terrain can be uneven.

Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Ho and follow the main road towards Amedzofe. The route is about 10 km and should take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your cycling speed. Once you arrive in Amedzofe, look for signs directing you to Ote Waterfall and take the trail that leads into the forest. Make sure to secure your bike at a safe location before embarking on the hike to the waterfall.

Public Transport

Take a trotro (shared minibus) from the main trotro station in Ho to Amedzofe. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Amedzofe, ask locals for the direction to Ote Waterfall. You’ll need to walk from the drop-off point to the waterfall, which is about a 30-minute hike. Follow the path that leads into the forest, and enjoy the scenic views along the way.
