Getting There

  • Car

    From Kakum National Park, head north on the main road (Hwy 1) towards Cape Coast. Continue on this road until you reach the junction at Twifo Praso. Turn left onto the road towards Boabeng. Follow the road for approximately 15 kilometers. You will notice signs directing you to Boabeng Fiema Monkey Sanctuary. The sanctuary is located just outside the village of Boabeng.

  • Public Transportation (Tro-Tro)

    From Kakum National Park, take a tro-tro (shared minibus) towards Cape Coast from the nearest station. Inform the driver that you are going to Boabeng. You may need to get off at Twifo Praso and transfer to another tro-tro heading towards Boabeng. The fare should be around 3-5 GHS for the first leg and 2-3 GHS for the second leg. Once you arrive in Boabeng, the sanctuary is a short walk from the village center.

  • Taxi
