Car
From Kintampo town center, head east on the N10 highway towards Techiman. After approximately 10 kilometers, look for signs for Nkyeraa. Turn left onto the road towards Nkyeraa and continue for about 5 kilometers. You will reach a fork in the road; take the right fork and follow the signs for Nchirra Waterfalls. After about 2 kilometers, you will arrive at the entrance to Nchirra Waterfalls. There may be an entrance fee of approximately 5 GHS per person.
Public Transportation
From Kintampo, locate the bus station and take a shared taxi or a trotro (minibus) heading to Nkyeraa. The fare should be around 2-3 GHS. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Nchirra Waterfalls stop. Once you arrive in Nkyeraa, you may need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach the waterfalls. Follow the local signs or ask locals for directions if needed. Be prepared for a small entrance fee of about 5 GHS to access the falls.
Walking
If you are already in Nkyeraa, you can walk to Nchirra Waterfalls. The walk is about 2 kilometers. Start by heading south from the main road, following local signs towards the waterfalls. The path may be uneven, so wear comfortable shoes. This is a great way to enjoy the scenery and meet locals along the way.
