From the center of Koforidua, head towards the Koforidua Central Market. Take the main road (Nkrumah Road) heading east. Continue walking until you reach the junction with Aburi Road. Turn left onto Aburi Road. Follow this road for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the town of Aburi. The entrance to the Aburi Botanical Gardens will be on your right side along Botanical Gardens Ave.

From the center of Koforidua, locate the tro-tro station near the Koforidua Central Market. Look for a tro-tro headed to Aburi. The fare is usually affordable, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Aburi, ask the driver or any local for directions to Botanical Gardens Ave. It is a short walk from the tro-tro stop.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Koforidua. Start from the city center and head towards Nkrumah Road, following the same route as if you were walking. Keep on Aburi Road for about 15–20 minutes. The distance is manageable, and the scenery along the way is beautiful. When you reach the entrance of the Aburi Botanical Gardens on Botanical Gardens Ave, you can lock your bike outside.
