Walking
If you are in the center of Koforidua, start by heading towards the main road (N6) that connects to the eastern towns. Once you reach the N6, turn left and walk for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction for the road leading to Asiafo Amanfro. Look for local signs indicating the direction to Umbrella Rock or ask locals for directions to Asiafo Amanfro. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers on this road; you will be able to see the hills in the distance. As you approach Asiafo Amanfro, keep an eye out for additional signs that will guide you to Umbrella Rock, which is located on a hilltop.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Koforidua. Start your journey by heading towards the N6 highway. Turn left onto the N6 and cycle approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the turn-off for Asiafo Amanfro. Take this turn and continue cycling for about 2 kilometers. The road will become more hilly as you approach Asiafo Amanfro, so be prepared for some uphill cycling. Look for signs for Umbrella Rock as you get closer to your destination.
Public Transport (Tro-Tro)
Find a Tro-Tro station in Koforidua, where you can catch a Tro-Tro heading towards Asiafo Amanfro. Board the Tro-Tro that is labeled for Asiafo Amanfro, and it will take you directly to the town. The journey should take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Asiafo Amanfro, you can ask locals for directions to Umbrella Rock. It's a short walk from the Tro-Tro drop-off point to the foot of the hill leading to Umbrella Rock.
