Walking
From the center of Koforidua, start at the Koforidua Post Office. Head south on the main road (Akyem Road) for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction leading to the Ekwamkrom area. Continue straight until you reach the Koforidua Central Market. Walk through the market area and take the road leading towards Asokore. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers until you see a sign indicating Asiafo Amanfro on the left. Turn left and continue on this road, which will lead you directly towards Umbrella Rock. The walk will take approximately 45 minutes.
Bicycle
Starting from the Koforidua Central Market, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Ride south on the Akyem Road for about 1 kilometer. At the junction to Ekwamkrom, take the left turn and continue biking for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Asokore. Turn left towards Asiafo Amanfro. The bike ride will take around 20-25 minutes, depending on your speed.
Public Transport (Shared Taxi)
From Koforidua, walk to the shared taxi station near the Koforidua Central Market. Look for a taxi heading to Asiafo Amanfro. The fare is usually very affordable (around GHS 2-5). Once you arrive at Asiafo Amanfro, ask the driver to drop you off near the path leading to Umbrella Rock. The taxi ride will take about 10-15 minutes.
