Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from Kokrobite, head east on the Akwapim Road towards Accra. Stay on this road for about 20-25 minutes until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection of George Bush Highway. Turn left onto the highway and continue for about 10 minutes, following signs to Accra. Once you reach the Ablekuma area, look for signs for Bojo Beach. There’s a parking area available at the beach, and parking fees may apply.

  • Public Transportation (Trotro)

    To reach Bojo Beach using public transport, catch a trotro from Kokrobite heading towards Accra. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the Ablekuma stop. From there, you can either take a taxi for the remaining distance (approximately 10-15 minutes) or ask locals for directions to Bojo Beach, which is roughly 4 kilometers away. Note that taxi fares will vary, so it’s advisable to negotiate the fare beforehand.

  • Motorbike Taxi (Okada)

    For a quicker option, consider taking a motorbike taxi (locally known as Okada) from Kokrobite directly to Bojo Beach. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes, and fares are usually around 10-20 GHS depending on your negotiation skills. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow safety guidelines while riding.
