If you are in the center of Kumasi, start at the Kumasi Cultural Centre. Head northeast on the main road (Nhyiaeso Road) for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Osei Tutu II Road. Turn left onto Osei Tutu II Road and continue for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see signs for Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) as you get closer. Once you reach the university entrance, follow the signs to the Botanical Garden, which is located within the university grounds.

From the central bus station in Kumasi, take a trotro (shared minibus) heading towards KNUST. These trotros are usually marked with signs. The journey will take about 20 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the KNUST main gate stop. From there, walk through the university entrance and follow the signs directing you to the Botanical Garden, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the main gate.
