Walking
From your location in Danyame, start by heading south towards the main road, also known as the Danyame Road. As you walk, look for the nearest junction and turn left onto the Kumasi-Ashanti Road. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes; you will cross a small bridge and see Yy on your right-hand side, just past a local market.
Motorcycle Taxi (Okada)
If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (locally known as Okada). Find a nearby Okada station or flag one down on the street. Tell the driver you want to go to Yy in Kumasi, and they should understand. The ride should take approximately 5-10 minutes and typically costs around 5-10 GHS, depending on your starting point.
Bicycle Taxi (Boda Boda)
Alternatively, you can use a bicycle taxi service, known as Boda Boda. Look for a Boda Boda station near you. Inform the rider that you wish to go to Yy. This option is often cheaper, costing around 3-5 GHS. The journey will take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
Use Yy as your starting point for nearby food, family ideas, nightlife, and more local discoveries.
