From Kusaug, head southwest on the main road towards the town of Tamale. Continue on this road until you reach the junction leading to the Cape Coast road. Merge onto the Cape Coast road (N1) and continue driving. After approximately 90 kilometers, you will reach Elmina. As you enter Elmina, look for signs directing you to Elmina Castle. The castle is located at 3MM2+4R3, just a short distance from the main road.

To reach Elmina Castle from Kusaug using public transportation, head to the nearest bus terminal in Kusaug. Look for a bus heading to Cape Coast.
