Car
Start your journey from any location in Kwahu. If you are in Nkawkaw, take the Kumasi-Accra Highway (N6) towards Accra. After about 10 kilometers, take the exit toward Enikawso. Follow the signs for Enikawso. Once you reach Enikawso, look for local signage pointing to Bomfobiri Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary is located just outside the town, and you will find access roads leading directly to the entrance. Note that the drive may take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Parking is available at the sanctuary entrance.

Public Transportation
To reach Bomfobiri Wildlife Sanctuary using public transport, first head to the nearest bus station in Kwahu. You can take a shared taxi or a trotro (local minibus) heading towards Nkawkaw. Inform the driver you want to get off at Enikawso. The fare is generally around 3 to 5 GHS. Once you arrive in Enikawso, you can either walk to the sanctuary which is about a 15-20 minute walk or hire a local taxi for a small fee (approximately 10 GHS) to take you directly to the sanctuary entrance.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in Kwahu. Simply ask your hotel or accommodation to arrange a taxi for you, or you can find one on the street. Ensure you agree on a fare beforehand, which should be around 30-50 GHS depending on your starting point in Kwahu. The taxi will take you directly to Bomfobiri Wildlife Sanctuary, and you won’t have to navigate public transport.
