    From any location in the North East Region, make your way to the nearest major road leading south towards Accra. If you are near Nalerigu, take the N10 road south. Continue on N10 until you reach the intersection with the N1 road. Merge onto the N1 road heading southwest towards Accra. Follow the N1 until you reach the Achimota area of Accra. Look for signs directing you to Achimota Forest, where the zoo is located. Parking is available near the entrance, but ensure to check for any parking fees.

    To reach Accra Zoo via public transport, start by finding a local trotro (shared minibus) station in your area in the North East Region. Board a trotro heading towards Tamale. Upon reaching Tamale, transfer to another trotro heading to Accra. When you arrive in Accra, you can get off at the Achimota area. From there, you can either walk to the zoo, which is approximately a 15-minute walk, or take a taxi or a motorbike for a small fee (around GHS 10). Make sure to check the local schedules for the trotros, as they can vary.
