From Nkwanta, follow signs to Mount Afadja. The turn-off for Mount Afadja is well-marked and is about 15 kilometers from Nkwanta. Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Tamale to Nkwanta. Buses leave regularly from the Tamale central bus station.
