Getting There

  • Walking

    Start your journey at the Sekondi-Takoradi Railway Station. From there, head south along the main road, which is the George Bush Highway. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction at the Takoradi Mall. Here, take a left turn onto the road leading towards the beach area. Keep walking straight, and you will pass the Takoradi Harbour on your right. Continue straight until you reach the junction where you will see the Beahu beach sign. Turn right onto the road that leads to Beahu beach, and walk about 500 meters until you see the Beahu Jamestown River on your left side.

  • Public Transport

    From the Sekondi-Takoradi Railway Station, take a shared taxi or 'trotro' heading towards the Takoradi Market. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the junction near the Takoradi Mall. Once you arrive at the junction, walk towards the beach area by taking a left turn. Continue walking straight, passing the Takoradi Harbour. When you reach the junction with the Beahu beach sign, turn right and walk for about 500 meters to reach Beahu Jamestown River on your left.

  • Bicycle

    If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Sekondi-Takoradi Railway Station and head south along the George Bush Highway. Continue for approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach the Takoradi Mall junction. Make a left turn towards the beach area and cycle straight toward the Takoradi Harbour. Keep cycling past the harbour, and when you reach the Beahu beach sign, turn right. Cycle for another 500 meters, and you will find Beahu Jamestown River on your left.
