Walking
Start from the Tamale Central Market, which is a well-known landmark. Head southeast on Yaa Naa Road for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the junction with Nkrumah Road. At this junction, turn left onto Nkrumah Road. Continue walking straight for another 800 meters until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with the Tamale Sports Stadium on your right. Cross the road and keep walking straight. After crossing, continue for about 400 meters. Kaladan Park will be on your left, just before you reach the junction with the road leading to the Tamale International Airport.
Bicycle
If you are renting a bicycle, start at the Tamale Central Market and head southeast on Yaa Naa Road for approximately 1.2 kilometers. Turn left at the junction onto Nkrumah Road and continue for 800 meters. You will pass the Tamale Sports Stadium on your right. Keep going straight for another 400 meters, and you'll find Kaladan Park on your left, just before the junction leading to the Tamale International Airport.
Public Transport
From the Tamale Central Market, look for a shared taxi or 'trotro' heading towards the airport. Tell the driver you want to stop at Kaladan Park or the nearby Tamale Sports Stadium. The fare is usually minimal, around 1-2 Ghanaian Cedis. Once you reach the vicinity of the stadium, disembark and walk approximately 400 meters back towards the city center. Kaladan Park will be on your left side.
