Walking
From the center of Wa, head east on Main Street towards the Wa Municipal Assembly. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with the Wa to Sankana road (look for signs indicating Sankana). Turn left onto this road and continue straight for approximately 5 kilometers. You will pass through small villages along the way. Once you reach Sankana, ask locals for directions to the Sankana Chief Palace, as it is a well-known landmark in the area.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Wa. Start from the main market area and cycle east along Main Street towards the Wa Municipal Assembly. After about 1 kilometer, take a left at the junction onto the Wa to Sankana road. Cycle straight for around 5 kilometers, enjoying the scenery and local life. Upon reaching Sankana, you can stop and ask for directions to the Sankana Chief Palace, which is recognized by locals.
Motorcycle taxi (Okada)
Find a motorcycle taxi (popularly known as Okada) in the central area of Wa. Tell the driver you want to go to Sankana Chief Palace. The driver will take you via the Wa to Sankana road. The journey should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Sankana, make sure to confirm with the driver or locals about the exact location of the Chief Palace.
