Walking
From the center of Wa, head towards the Wa Municipal Assembly. You can ask locals for directions to the assembly building if you're unsure. Once at the assembly, continue straight on the main road (N4) heading east. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach a junction. Take the left fork onto a smaller road (you may see signs for Vieri). Continue on this road for about 3 kilometers. Look out for signs indicating Siiru Dam/Reservoir as you approach. When you reach the area, you might need to ask locals for the exact location of the reservoir, as it may not be clearly marked.
Bicycle
Starting from the central market in Wa, rent a bicycle from one of the local vendors. Cycle towards the Wa Municipal Assembly and then continue on the N4 road heading east. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, take the left fork at the junction onto the smaller road towards Vieri. Maintain a steady pace as you ride for about 3 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs or landmarks that indicate you are nearing Siiru Dam/Reservoir. Once you arrive, you may need to inquire locally for the final approach.
Motorbike Taxi (Okada)
Find a motorbike taxi (locally known as an 'Okada') in the center of Wa. Inform the rider that you want to go to Siiru Dam/Reservoir. They are familiar with the area and will take you to the main road (N4). From there, follow the same route, where the rider will navigate the left fork onto the road towards Vieri. The journey should take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic conditions. You can ask the rider to drop you off at the closest point to the reservoir, and then you may walk the last few meters.
