Car
From the center of Wala, head south on the main road towards Accra. Follow the signs for the N1 highway. Stay on the N1 for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the junction for Tetteh Kpeshie Rd. Turn right onto Tetteh Kpeshie Rd and continue for about 1 kilometer. Fort James will be on your left. Parking may be available near the entrance.
Public Transportation
Take a shared taxi from Wala to Accra. The taxi will drop you off at a central location in Accra. From there, look for a trotro (minibus) heading towards Tetteh Kpeshie Rd. Inform the driver that you want to go to Fort James. The fare for the taxi will typically be around 5 GHS, and the trotro fare should be about 2 GHS. After getting off at the nearest stop, it’s a short walk to Fort James, which will be visible from the road.
Motorbike Taxi (Okada)
For a quicker option, you can hire a motorbike taxi (locally known as Okada). Negotiate the fare with the rider before starting your journey. The ride from Wala to Fort James should cost around 10-15 GHS, depending on traffic. The rider will take you directly to Fort James, which is located on Tetteh Kpeshie Rd.
