From Casemates Square, exit towards the main street by heading northeast. Walk past the large cannon on your right, and continue straight until you reach the traffic circle. At the traffic circle, take the first exit onto Main Street. Continue walking along Main Street for about 5 minutes. You will pass various shops and cafes on your left and right. Look for signs directing you towards John Mackintosh Square. The British War Memorial is located in John Mackintosh Square, which will be on your left, just after you pass the Gibraltar Museum.
