Getting There
-
Walking
From the beach area in Catalan Bay, head up the narrow street called 'Catalan Bay Road'. Continue walking straight until you reach the main road, 'Sir Herbert Miles Road'. This should take around 10 minutes. Once you reach Sir Herbert Miles Road, turn left and walk towards the direction of the Gibraltar Nature Reserve. After approximately 15-20 minutes of walking, you will see signs directing you to the Moorish Castle. Keep an eye out for the entrance on your right. It’s a bit uphill, so be prepared for a slight incline in the final stretch of your walk.

Walking
If you prefer a more scenic route, after reaching Sir Herbert Miles Road, instead of turning left, turn right and take the path that goes through the Gibraltar Nature Reserve. This path will provide beautiful views and takes you up to the Moorish Castle. Follow the signs for the castle, and it should take about 30 minutes from this path. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the terrain may be uneven in some areas.
