Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, navigate to Gibraltar's main road, the A-7. From the border crossing, follow the signs for Gibraltar. Once in Gibraltar, continue straight until you reach the roundabout and take the second exit onto Winston Churchill Avenue. Follow this road until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with the A-1. Turn left onto the A-1 and continue straight. After approximately 1.5 km, you will see signs for Eastern Beach. Turn right onto Eastern Beach Road, which will take you directly to the beach entrance. Note that parking may be limited, so arrive early to secure a spot.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Eastern Beach via public transportation, start by taking the bus from the main bus terminal at the border. Board the 'Route 1' bus, which operates frequently and will take you directly to the city center. Disembark at the 'Casemates Square' stop. From there, you can catch the 'Route 2' bus, which travels towards Eastern Beach. The bus will drop you off close to the beach entrance. Keep in mind that the bus fare is approximately £2.50 per ride, so have cash ready.

• Walking

  If you find yourself within the city center of Gibraltar and prefer to walk, head towards the southern end of Main Street and continue to follow the signs leading to Eastern Beach. The walk is about 30 minutes and will take you through some picturesque streets. As you approach the beach, you will have to navigate down a few steep paths. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the terrain can be uneven.

• Taxi

  For a more convenient option, consider taking a taxi from anywhere in Gibraltar to Eastern Beach. Taxis are readily available and can be hailed from the street or booked via phone. The fare from the city center to Eastern Beach should be around £7-£10, depending on your exact pickup location. Taxis provide a quick and comfortable way to reach the beach without the hassle of parking or public transport schedules.
