If you are driving from any location in Little Bay, first head southwest on the main road towards the coast. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A1 road towards the city center. Follow the A1 for about 1.5 kilometers until you see the signs for Woodford's Battery. Turn left onto a smaller road that leads up the hill towards the battery. There is limited parking available near the site, so be mindful of the parking regulations.

To reach Woodford's Battery using public transportation, locate the nearest bus stop in Little Bay. Take bus number 1 or 2 towards the city center. After about a 10-minute ride, disembark at the stop closest to the A1 road. From there, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes uphill to reach Woodford's Battery. Follow the signs pointing towards the battery, which will guide you along the path. The bus fare is typically around £2.00.

If you prefer to walk from your location in Little Bay, head towards the main road and follow it in the direction of the coast. Walk along the promenade until you reach the roundabout.
