Over the years, it has been equipped with various artillery, including 18-pounder guns, 32-pounders, and later a large 12.5 inch 38 ton RML gun.Today, Harding's Observation Post provides a tranquil escape and a prime location for birdwatching. Its strategic position makes it an ideal spot to observe migratory birds navigating the Strait of Gibraltar. The area is well-maintained, offering a peaceful environment for visitors to appreciate the natural beauty and rich biodiversity.
