Getting There

  • Walking

    From Casemates Square, head north towards the Landport Gate. Pass through the gate and continue along Corral Road. The Grand Battery will be on your left, a short walk from the Landport Gate.

  • Public Transport

    Take bus number 3 or 4 from any bus stop along Queen's Road towards 'East Side'. Get off at the 'Corral Road' stop. Walk approximately 5 minutes northeast along Corral Road; the Grand Battery will be directly ahead. Bus fare is approximately £1.50.

  • Car

    From Queen's Road, head southeast towards Main Street. Continue onto the A1 road and follow signs for Corral Road. Take the exit towards Corral Road. Continue on Corral Road for about 300 meters; Grand Battery is on your left. Parking may be limited. Nearby parking is available at Landport Ditch car park.
