Cable Car
The most direct route to Top Rock Cafe is via the Gibraltar Cable Car. The base station is located near the Alameda Gardens, at the southern end of Main Street. A round-trip ticket costs approximately £49.00 for adults, including access to the Nature Reserve. The cable car ascends to the Top Station in about 6 minutes, where the cafe is located. From the top station, follow the signs for the cafe. Note that queues for the cable car can be long during peak season.

Public Transport
Several bus routes connect to the Cable Car station. From the city center, take bus routes 3, 4, 9, or 1. The bus fare is around £1.50. Alight at the 'Cable Car Station' stop. From there, it's a short walk to the cable car base station and then take the cable car to the top. Alternatively, bus route 1 will take you to the last stop near the Moorish Castle entrance, from where you can walk to the cafe.

Walking
For those already on the Upper Rock, Top Rock Cafe can be reached by walking. From the Apes' Den, follow the paths downhill towards Red Sands Road. Stay on the main pathway until you see the signs for the Cable Car Parking Lot and Top Rock Cafe. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes. Note that this involves walking on some steep inclines and steps.
