Getting There

    From Western Beach, start by driving north on the Main Street (A370) towards the center of Gibraltar. Continue on the Main Street for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to the Upper Rock Nature Reserve as you approach the cable car station. Turn right onto the road leading to the Upper Rock. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will find the entrance to Saint Michael's Cave on your left at St Michael Rd. Parking may be limited near the entrance, so be prepared to park on nearby streets.

    From Western Beach, take Bus 3 from the nearby bus stop towards the city center. The bus will take you through Gibraltar, and you should get off at the stop for the Upper Rock Nature Reserve entrance. From there, you can either walk (about 15 minutes uphill) or take a taxi to Saint Michael's Cave. If you choose to walk, continue along the road until you reach St Michael Rd; the cave entrance will be on your right. Note that the bus fare is approximately £1.50 per person.

    If you prefer to walk from Western Beach, start by heading east along the beach promenade until you reach the Main Street (A370). From there, turn left and continue walking north for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the cable car station. At the cable car station, follow the signs for the Upper Rock Nature Reserve. Continue walking uphill for about 1 kilometer until you reach St Michael Rd, where you will see Saint Michael's Cave on your left. The walk may take around 30-40 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes.
