Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the city center of Alexandroupoli, start at the main square (Plateia), which is a popular meeting point. From there, head east on Eleftheriou Venizelou Street. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the waterfront promenade. At this point, you will see the sea ahead of you. Turn left onto the promenade and walk along the coast. Keep walking for about 15-20 minutes, enjoying the view of the sea and the surrounding area. You will pass several cafes and small shops along the way. Look for signs directing you to Πλάζ Αλεξανδούπολης, which is located near the Ξενοδοχείο Γραντ Εγνατία. The entrance to the beach is easily accessible from the promenade.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From the city center, make your way to the nearest bus station, which is located on 14th May Street (Odós 14is Maiou). Catch a local bus that is heading towards the coastal area; ensure to check the bus routes as some may not stop directly at Πλάζ Αλεξανδούπολης. Inform the driver of your destination, and they will let you know when it's time to get off. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you get off, walk towards the beach area, and you will see the entrance to Πλάζ Αλεξανδούπολης.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in the city center. Head east on Eleftheriou Venizelou Street, and follow the same route as if you were walking. The bike ride to Πλάζ Αλεξανδούπολης will take around 10 minutes. Riding along the waterfront promenade offers a scenic route, and you can easily park your bike at designated areas near the beach.
