Getting There

  • Walking

    From Psiri, head towards Athinas Street. Walk straight along Athinas Street for about 10 minutes until you reach Omonia Square. Once at Omonia Square, turn left onto Stadiou Street and continue walking for about 5 minutes. You will pass several shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the small side street on your right, Koumpari Street. Turn right onto Koumpari Street, and the Benaki Museum will be located at the end of the street on your left at Koumpari 1.

  • Metro

    If you prefer to take public transportation, find the nearest metro station in Psiri, which is Monastiraki Station (Line 1 - Green Line). Take the train towards Kifisia and get off at Omonia Station. From Omonia Station, exit onto Stadiou Street and walk as described previously, turning right onto Koumpari Street. This journey will take around 20 minutes, including walking.

  • Bus

    You can also take a bus from Psiri to the Benaki Museum. Find the nearest bus stop and catch bus number 051 or 022. Ride the bus for approximately 10-15 minutes until you reach a stop near Omonia Square. Get off and follow Stadiou Street as described earlier, turning right onto Koumpari Street to reach the museum.
