If you are in the Plaka area or near the Acropolis Museum, walking is a straightforward option. From the Acropolis Museum, head southwest towards the Acropolis. Continue downhill on Kifissias Street until you reach Apostolou Pavlou Street. Turn right and walk for about 5-10 minutes until you reach Apostolou Pavlou 23. The prison remains will be visible on your left.

From Syntagma Square, walk to the bus stop and take bus number 500 towards Omonia. After approximately 10 minutes and 5 stops, get off at the Acropolis stop. Walk towards the Acropolis entrance, then head southwest on Kifissias Street. Turn right onto Apostolou Pavlou Street, and you will find the Remains Athens State Prison at Apostolou Pavlou 23. A single ticket for public transport in Athens costs €1.20 and is valid for 90 minutes. Make sure to validate your ticket upon boarding.
