Breathtaking Views at Koutsomilos Panorama

Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the nearest town, Kallithea, head southeast on the main road towards Afytos. Continue on this road for about 8 kilometers (approximately 15 minutes). As you approach the village of Afytos, look for signs directing you to Koutsomilos. Turn left onto a smaller road leading up the hill. Follow this road for another 2 kilometers until you reach the Koutsomilos panorama view parking area. Note that parking may be limited, so arrive early to secure a spot.

• Public Transportation

  From Kallithea, take the local bus to Afytos. The bus departs regularly, so check the schedule at the bus station. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Afytos, you can either walk to Koutsomilos panorama view by following the signs or take a taxi from the bus stop to the viewpoint. The taxi ride should only take about 5 minutes and cost around €5-€10. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.

• Walking

  If you are already in Afytos and want to enjoy a scenic walk, head up from the main square of Afytos. Take the road leading towards the hills, which is well marked for walkers. The walk is approximately 3 kilometers and will take around 40 minutes. Enjoy the beautiful views along the way, but be prepared for some steep sections. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water, especially during the hotter months.
