Walking
From the Old Harbor of Chania, walk west along the waterfront promenade. Enjoy the sea views as you pass cafes and shops. Continue to the end of the harbor, then take the left exit onto Kydonias Street. Walk straight for 15 minutes until you reach Meletiou Piga Street. Turn right, and the West Venetian Walls will be on your left. This walk is free.
Public Transport
From Chania's main bus station, take a local bus towards the city center. Get off at the 'Kydonias' stop. Walk south along Kydonias Street for about 10 minutes. Turn left onto Meletiou Piga Street, where you'll find the West Venetian Walls on your left. A one-way bus ticket costs approximately €2-3.
Taxi
Hail a taxi from anywhere in Chania and ask the driver to take you to the West Venetian Walls. Confirm the fare before starting your journey. Taxi fares in Chania start at €1.80-2.50, with an additional €0.90-1.25 per kilometer. A short trip from the city center should cost around €6-11.
