    If you are in the central area of Platanias, head towards the main road (Avenue Platanias). Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with the beach road. You will see signs pointing to Platanias Beach. Turn right onto the beach road and continue walking for another 5 minutes. The beach will be on your left.

  • Local Bus

    You can take a local bus towards Chania from the Platanias bus station. The fare is approximately €1.50. Once you board, inform the driver that you want to go to Platanias Beach. The bus will take you directly to the beach area. The journey takes about 5 minutes. Once you arrive at the beach stop, simply walk towards the beach which will be right in front of you.

  • Bicycle Rental

    If you prefer to cycle, there are several rental shops in Platanias. You can rent a bicycle for around €10 per day. Start from the main pedestrian street and head towards the beach. The ride is about 2 km and takes approximately 10 minutes. Follow the road leading to the beach, and you will find Platanias Beach on your left side.
