From the center of Platanias, head towards the main road (EO Chania - Kissamou). Once you reach the road, turn right and follow the sidewalk. Continue walking for about 15-20 minutes. You will pass several shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Chania. As you get closer to Chania, you will see the coastline on your left. Stay on the main road until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit towards Chania. After a short walk, you will see the war Memorial on your right, located in a small park area.

If you prefer to take public transportation, walk to the nearest bus stop in Platanias (located along the main road). Look for the KTEL bus that is heading towards Chania. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes and costs around €1.50. Once you arrive at the Chania bus station, exit the bus and walk towards the direction of the old town. After a 10-15 minute walk, you will arrive at the war Memorial, which will be on your left side in a small park.
