From Delphi, the Corycian Cave can be reached via a challenging but rewarding hike. The trailhead begins at the northernmost road in Delphi. The hike is approximately 9.4 km each way and takes about 7-8 hours as a round trip. Follow the E4 European long-distance trail, marked with yellow and black signs. The path ascends via the 'Kaki Skala' (evil steps), a cobbled path that zigzags up the mountain. After approximately 2.5 km, the path levels out and continues to a dirt road near the Panagia Church. From Panagia Church, follow the dirt road, watching for a sign on the left for 'Corycian Cave'. The final 20 minutes of the path are steep and craggy. Ensure you have enough food and water for the whole day.

From Delphi, a taxi is the quickest way to reach the Corycian Cave. Taxis are available at the Delphi bus station. The taxi ride takes approximately 40 minutes and covers about 24 km. The route follows the road towards Arachova, then ascends Mount Parnassus. The taxi will drop you off near the hiking trail leading to the cave. From there, it's a moderately challenging 30-45 minute hike to the cave. Expect to pay around €20-€25 for the taxi ride. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
