    If you are driving, start your journey from the city of Ioannina. Head northwest on E65 (also known as E90) towards the town of Konitsa. After approximately 40 km (about 45 minutes), take the exit for the village of Megalo Papingo. Follow the signs to Megalo Papingo, and continue on this road until you reach the village. The entrance to Vikos National Park is located just a short drive from Megalo Papingo, approximately 4 km further along the road. Parking is available near the entrance. Note that there may be a small parking fee.

    To reach Vikos National Park via public transportation, take a bus from Ioannina to the town of Konitsa. The bus service runs multiple times a day, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once in Konitsa, you can catch a local bus or taxi to Megalo Papingo. Local buses may not run frequently, so check the schedule ahead of time. From Megalo Papingo, Vikos National Park is just a short drive away, which you can cover on foot or by taxi. Make sure to confirm taxi availability in advance.
