From Ioannina, the largest nearby city, take the E85/E90/A2 highway towards Metsovo. Exit towards East Zagori/Vikos and follow the provincial roads through the mountainous region. The drive to the Vikos Gorge area, specifically the village of Monodendri, takes approximately 1 hour. Parking is available in Monodendri, near the entrance to the Vikos Gorge trail. Parking is free but can be limited during peak season.
