From the center of Ioannina, head to the main bus station (KTEL Ioannina) located at 2 Kastritsas Street. You can take a local taxi or walk approximately 15 minutes. Once at the bus station, look for the buses heading towards Katsanochoria. Buses generally depart every hour. Confirm with the ticket counter which bus goes to Katsanochoria. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. After arriving in Katsanochoria, alight at the main square. From there, the Monastery of Panagia Tsoukas is about a 10-minute walk. Head northwest on the main road for approximately 800 meters until you see signs directing you to the monastery.

From the center of Ioannina, you can take a taxi directly to the Monastery of Panagia Tsoukas. Taxis are readily available throughout the city, and you can easily find one at a taxi stand or call for a taxi. Show the driver the address 'Katsanochoria 440 13'. The journey will take approximately 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure to confirm the price before starting the ride, as fares may vary.

If you prefer to walk, start at the center of Ioannina and head towards the lake. Follow the lakeside path until you reach the main road. Make a left turn onto the main road leading out of Ioannina towards Katsanochoria. This walk is quite long, approximately 10 kilometers, and will take at least 2 hours, so ensure you have comfortable walking shoes and plenty of water. Along the way, you will enjoy beautiful views of the lake and surrounding landscape. After reaching Katsanochoria, ask locals for directions to the Monastery of Panagia Tsoukas, which is located just off the main road.
