Car
If you are driving from Thessaloniki, take the E65 highway heading towards Kastoria. After approximately 2 hours of driving, follow signs for Kastoria and take the exit towards Kastoria. Continue on the local roads until you reach the town of Kastoria. From there, head towards Sougaridi, where Dragon's Cave is located. The cave is about 10 km from the center of Kastoria. Look for signs directing you to the cave as you approach Sougaridi. There is a small parking area available near the cave.
Public Transportation
To reach Dragon's Cave from Thessaloniki via public transportation, first take a bus from the KTEL bus station in Thessaloniki to Kastoria. This journey takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you arrive in Kastoria, you can take a local taxi or check for local buses heading towards Sougaridi. If local buses are not available, hiring a taxi will be the most convenient option to reach the cave, which is about a 15-minute drive from Kastoria.
Walking
If you are already in Sougaridi, you can walk to Dragon's Cave from the village center. The cave is located approximately 1 km from the center of Sougaridi. Follow the signs leading to the cave, and enjoy the scenic views along the way. The path is well-marked, and the walk should take about 15 to 20 minutes.
