Car

If you're traveling by car, start from Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. Take the A1 highway towards Bitola. After about 160 km, take the exit for Ohrid. Continue towards Dolno Dupeni, which is approximately 20 km from Ohrid. Follow the signs to Dupeni Beach using GPS coordinates 40.8594, 21.1177. The beach is located near the village of Dolno Dupeni. There is no entry fee for the beach itself.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Skopje to Ohrid, which is about a 3-hour journey. Once you arrive in Ohrid, you can catch a local bus or taxi to Dolno Dupeni. The local bus will take about 30 minutes, and you should inform the driver that you want to go to Dupeni Beach. The cost for the bus from Skopje to Ohrid is typically around 500 MKD (approximately 10 EUR), and the local bus fare to Dolno Dupeni is around 100 MKD (approximately 2 EUR).

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Ohrid to Dupeni Beach. This will be more expensive, with costs typically ranging from 800 to 1200 MKD (approximately 15 to 25 EUR), depending on your negotiation skills and the time of day. Make sure to agree on a price before starting your journey.
