Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the capital city of Skopje. Take the A1 motorway heading south towards Ohrid. After about 170 kilometers, take the exit towards Ohrid and follow the signs to the city center. Once in Ohrid, continue towards Trpejca, a small village located on the shores of Lake Ohrid. The entrance to National Park Galicica is located 6 kilometers from Trpejca. You can park your car at designated areas near the visitor center.

Public Transportation
For those using public transport, take a bus from Skopje to Ohrid. Buses leave frequently from the central bus station in Skopje and the journey takes approximately 3 hours. Once in Ohrid, you can catch a local bus or taxi to Trpejca. Local buses to Trpejca may not run frequently, so it is advisable to check the schedule ahead of time or opt for a taxi. The taxi ride from Ohrid to Trpejca should cost around 10-15 euros.
