If you're starting in Portaria, begin at the main square and head towards Epar.Od. Portarias-Makrinitsas 16. The path is well-marked from there, approximately a 30-minute walk to the trailhead. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes for the rocky terrain.

From Volos, take the public bus to Portaria. Buses depart from the KTEL station at the corner of Sekeri and Zachou Streets, next to the Old Town. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. From Portaria, follow the walking directions to the Centaurs' Path trailhead.
