If you're traveling by car, start from the nearest town, Kalamata. Head southeast on the E65 highway, following signs for Sparta. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit towards Farida (Farida 230 54). Continue on the local roads for about 15 kilometers until you reach the base of Taygetos Mountain. Look for the signs directing you to Prophet Elias Peak. The road may become narrow and winding as you ascend, so drive with caution. There is a parking area at the trailhead where you can leave your car.

To reach Taygetos Mountain Peak via public transportation, take a bus from Kalamata to Sparta. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 40 minutes.
